Lifting: taking paint away
Kitchen roll, a thirsty brush or your sea sponge can lift paint out for clouds, highlights and corrections.

Do
Paint a flat blue sky and lift out three clouds while it's wet, using kitchen roll. On a dry patch, lift a highlight with a damp brush.
