The press-and-lift stroke
Touch the tip down, press so the belly spreads, lift back to the tip. That one movement makes a petal or a leaf, with no outline and no filling in.

Do
Twenty press-and-lift strokes in one colour, in rows. Then make five little five-petal flowers from them. Same stroke, turned around a centre.
